Tasks

Manage and create tasks in the Extranet interface.

In General

You can use the Tasks tab to register and assign tasks to Siesta Extranet users. The taskbar is located on the top bar under the paperclip icon, where all users can find it, or in the left menu in the Management / Tasks section, where users with manager authority can access it.

Create a task

The task can be created in the bottom right corner by using the “add task” button. In addition, it is possible to create tasks directly in the booking details, in the tasks tab, click the button on the bottom right corner “add task”. When entering a task, you can enter the “Subject” of the task, priority, deadline, person responsible or description. Usually, we leave the status to “Entered” and update it as the task progresses.

Work with tasks

There are four tabs on the task page, which you access through the top bar.

The first is the “My” tab - this tab shows the tasks that are assigned to you and not yet completed.

The “Created” tab shows tasks that have been created and are not yet completed.

The “Not assigned” tab shows all tasks that do not have an assigned user. These can be tasks that need to be done, but it doesn't matter who does them.

In the “Other” tab you will find all unassigned tasks as well as all tasks that you have either created or assigned to you.

Individual tasks can be clicked to change their status, description and all other attributes. Tasks in the Others tab can also be filtered by all attributes.

Tasks in the Management card

In the "Management" tab you can find an interface similar to the “Other” tab, except that you can see all the tasks here.
